NorSea Decommissioning was established in 2016 and has brought a fresh approach to the onshore decommissioning sector through the provision of an unsurpassed level of integrated service delivery.
It is a collaborative alliance between NorSea (UK) Ltd and Scotoil Services Ltd, two of the leading service companies in the sector.
We provide a single focal point for all project services related to quayside and onshore decommissioning activity, along with more efficient and effective ways of working. This results in lower costs and more robust operational improvements.
We offer a complete onshore service from receipt of waste and equipment at the quayside, to the cleaning and cutting process and then on to final reuse, recycle or disposal.
Through Scotoil Services, NorSea Decommissioning holds licenses for the handling of NORM (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material) in both Peterhead and Montrose supply bases.
NorSea (UK) Ltd is in the process of developing facilities at Smith Quay & Merchants Quay in Peterhead where we will have the space and operational capacity to service Subsea Support Vessels, Platform Supply Vessels, Decommissioning Assignments & Renewables Projects.
Scotoil’s Miller Street facility has undergone a significant refurbishment program in recent years.
