Spring 2017, NSG Wind and Maritime Logistics Service (MLS) received a contract for delivery and coordination of four guard vessels to the NordLink interconnector, one of the world's longest power lines between Norway and Germany owned 50/50 by Statnett and TenneT/KfW. The contract was applicable for operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, but Nexans was pleased with delivered services and have now signed a contract with NSG Wind and MLS for two additional years.
The new company, Canadian Supply Base Company, is gathering resources, opportunities and cluster participants to explore the development of a proposed multi-user, ‘one-stop shop’ port cluster at Bull Arm, Newfoundland. This ‘Life of Field Service Centre’ concept would incorporate supply base services with subsea services and fabrication, and an industrial estate for supply and service companies.

ØER A/S, a subsidiary of NSG Wind, have been awarded a contract for providing offshore exchange and commissioning services of main components on the Prinses Amaliawindpark for Eneco Windmolens Offshore B.V. The contract started up in the beginning of 2018 and planning processes are already ongoing.
DEA Norway allocates a framework contract for base services to NorSea Group AS.
Kongsberg Digital is purchasing a 34 per cent ownership share in NSG Digital, a subsidiary of NorSea Group. NorSea Group, controlled by Wilhelmsen, is joining forces with Kongsberg Digital to digitalise the supply chain in the oil and gas and offshore wind industries.
