New wind contract for NSG wind

ØER A/S, a subsidiary of NSG Wind, have been awarded a contract for providing offshore exchange and commissioning services of main components on the Prinses Amaliawindpark for Eneco Windmolens Offshore B.V. The contract started up in the beginning of 2018 and planning processes are already ongoing.

The Prinses Amaliawindpark, located 23km off the coast of Ijmuiden, Netherlands, consists of 60 Vestas V80-2.0 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2 MW. Every year, this wind farm generates around 422 GWh of sustainable electricity.

ØER will be providing its expertise in form of project management and technical manpower for the exchange of main components, such as gearbox, generator, transformer, blade and/or blade bearing. During the five-year contract term the component exchange will be executed in several projects in close cooperation with Eneco and MPI Offshore, who will deliver offshore transport and lifting services on this project.

We are looking forward to working with and supporting Eneco in keeping the Prinses Amaliawindpark up and running in the next five years!
