Customer and supplier information
NorSea processes personal data about customers and suppliers, as well as any third party, necessary to procure goods and services and fulfill our contractual obligations. Personal data is collected when customers and suppliers contact us, order our services, or enter into a contract for the supply of goods and services.

Information processed for such purposes is contact information about customers and suppliers. Contact information means name, email address, telephone number and job title.

The legal basis is Norsea's legitimate interest in ensuring good management of and support for our customers, suppliers and partners.

The personal data is stored in a separate database and deleted five years after the termination of the customer relationship.

Marketing and use of Norseagroup.com
NorSea processes personal data for marketing purposes. This personal data may be exchanged between NorSea and our subsidiaries, but will not be disclosed to other companies.

Contact information for potential customers is obtained from publicly available sources, such as the businesses' website, or direct contact with the individual businesses. The purpose of this processing of personal data is to conduct marketing of our services and coordinate these marketing efforts.

The personal data are stored in a separate database and deleted within one year of their entry into the database, unless a customer relationship is established or consent to continued storage is given.

Recruitment
NorSea processes personal data submitted by you as a job seeker in connection with recruitment to vacant positions.

When you apply for a position via our website, we use a recruitment portal provided by an external provider to process your job application. The processing of this personal data will be bound by a data processing agreement. The data will not be used for any purpose other than processing related to job search.

You will be asked to submit personal information such as name, email address, mobile phone number and address in addition to job and education details.

You may also be asked to provide additional information, such as cover letters and other relevant information necessary for NorSea to evaluate your application.

Personal data about applicants for positions in NorSea will be deleted 6 months after you apply for a position, unless you are hired or consent to the data being kept longer. As a job seeker, you can request that your personal data be deleted whenever you wish.

The legal basis for processing and storing your job application, CV and related information is your consent so that we can assess you as suitable for a position in NorSea.

Other purposes?
NorSea may also process personal data for other additional purposes. All such purposes will be identified at the time of collection and we will inform you of the purpose of the processing in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Transfer and disclosure of personal data
NorSea shares your personal data with other companies in the Group to the extent necessary for the purposes described above, and with third parties when such sharing is necessary to provide services. Where such transfers occur, NorSea has implemented internal privacy policies and data protection processes to ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data across group companies, regardless of where the personal data originates or is processed.

NorSea may use service providers, for example, for consulting purposes, employment services (temporary work arrangements), recruitment services, including the operation of our job application portal, HR management and assignments, facility services, IT services for the provision of systems and related support, conducting integrity assessments of our business partners, processing transactions or performing statistical analysis of our services.

Where required by law, regulation, legal process or an enforceable government request, we may share your personal data for legal reasons with public authorities or governments, but only to the extent we are required to do so.

NorSea has implemented internal privacy policies and processes that ensure a high level of protection of your personal information across Norsea affiliates, regardless of where the personal information originates or is processed.

Data Protection Officer
NorSea has its own Data Protection Officer who assists with guidance so that personal data is processed in a good way and in line with the regulations.
Requests for access, correction and deletion, as well as notifications of discrepancies are handled by the Data Protection Officer.
